Robert A. Bain II, Esquire

Robert A. Bain II is an associate with Meyer Law Office. He practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, family law, real estate law, municipal law, DUIs, oil and gas, wills and estates, corporate formations, and unemployment compensation.

Prior to joining Meyer Law Office, Attorney Bain worked as an Assistant District Attorney and subsequently as a Senior Deputy District Attorney at the Adams County District Attorney's Office in Gettsburg, Pennsylvania. In his eight years as a prosecutor, Attorney Bain tried numerous misdemeanor and felony cases before both juries and judges. These cases ranged from DUIs and complex theft cases to assaults and firearms cases. During this time, Attorney Bain gained significant trial and courtroom experience in prosecuting cases on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Before working as a prosecutor, Attorney Bain worked as a law clerk for the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. At the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board, he gained a wide knowledge of the various legal aspects of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law. Prior to this, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Christopher St. John of the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas in Mercer, Pennsylvania, where he engaged in work involving various criminal and civil legal issues. Additionally, while working as a law clerk in Mercer County, Attorney Bain served as a hearing master for ex parte Protection from Abuse hearings.

He earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2004, where he graduated magna cum laude. During this time at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Attorney Bain was also a Managing Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. He earned an undergraduate degree in History at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 2001, where he also graduated magna cum laude.
